Magic League is run in a sealed format, where participants use cards pulled directly from
booster packs. Participants will record the cards they received on their deck register, and
are subject to periodical checks by the Game Shack staff. The Game Shack will provide
additional basic land for deck construction.

During the seven‐week period, The Game Shack will maintain each participant’s league
cards and participants may only use their cards for league play.

Participants who choose to leave the league will not be able to receive league cards until
the league has been completed.

Participants may trade league cards provided they trade one card for one card, and trade
cards of the same scarcity (common for common; uncommon for uncommon; rare or
mythic for rare or mythic). All trades must be recorded on each participant’s deck
register.

Deck construction in weeks 1, 2, and 3 will follow Limited Format rules; Deck construction
in weeks 4, 5, and 6 will follow Shards of Alara Block Constructed Format rules.
Participants may duel other participants at anytime The Game Shack is open for
business. Participants may duel the same league player no more than three times per
week.

A point system similar to the DCI Rating System will be used to determine player rankings.
Participants will record the results of each league duel on a weekly form provided by The
Game Shack. Result entries will be tallied at the close of business on each Sunday, and
posted on the following Monday when The Game Shack opens.

Participants who start the season late, or miss a week may catch up by purchasing cards
at the promotional league prices. They will not receive promotional foil cards and will not
be allowed to purchase the bonus packs for weeks three and six.

Prizewinners will be posted on Mondays when The Game Shack opens. Prizes will be in
the form of store credit so that participants may select the prizes of their choice. Weekly
Prizes will be awarded to the following winners.
